Here's a breakdown of all the different features and options inside the main settings menu of 2D Workflow.

1. Expiration Date Entry: This setting lets you select your preference of how you would like to enter expiration dates into the system. By default, 2DWF will always submit the correct format based on your Amazon marketplace, but this setting lets you control which format you want to use when entering your dates into the app:
  • United States: MM/DD
  • Europe: DD/MM

2. Minimum Expiration Days: This setting lets you set a minimum number of days that a product must have left before it expires in order for it to be accepted by the software. For example, if set to 180 days, any product that has less than this many days remaining before expiration will be rejected by the software.

Note: By default, 2D Workflow will set your minimum expiration days limit to 90 days.

3. FNSKU Label Size: you can select the label size for all your different items in the different shipments you prep.

4. Box Label Printer: This is where you select what size box labels you will be using.

  • Exclude Ship From Address on 3-in-1 Box Label - When creating a 3-in-1 box label, this feature will exclude your Ship From address on the FBA box label. This is to prevent the end customer from seeing your personal info on the Amazon box label.

  • Keep Shipments in Working Tab Until DELIVERED - When enabled, this setting will keep your shipments on the Working Shipments tab until it starts being received by Amazon.

The purpose of this feature is for users who schedule their own shipping to Amazon, which causes the shipment to be moved in a SHIPPED status by Amazon. This now allows you to keep working on that shipment and making boxes, even though its status shows shipped. For more info on this feature, click here.

  • Keep Multi-SKU Workflow Open After Box Creation - This feature was designed for users who work exclusively with Multi-SKU Boxes. By default, to create a Multi-SKU Box, users will need to press the Multi-SKU Box button each time they wish to create one.

However, with this feature enabled, a new Multi-SKU Box will open automatically as soon as you complete one. This saves you a few mouse clicks so that you can keep making Multi-SKU boxes without having to press the Multi-SKU Box button.

  • Print Box and Carrier Labels Together - (SPD only)This feature lets you print your FBA box labels at the same time and together with your UPS carrier labels at the end of an SPD shipment.

Currently, the default workflow has you print box labels on the fly when you pack boxes, and then at the end of a shipment, you print your carrier labels and match them to your boxes.

Some users requested the ability to instead print both the box labels and carrier labels together at the end of a shipment.

  • Always Require Box Dimensions - Created specifically for users who need to track the dims of their boxes even when not required by Amazon. When enabled, this setting will force you to enter the dimensions of a box even when not required by Amazon.

Helpful for things like non-partnered Hazmat shipments where you need to track and provide box dims for your carrier. For more info on this feature, click here

  • Always Require Box Weight - Created for users who need to track the weights of individual boxes even when not required by Amazon.

This is a good feature for users who ship pallets but don't have a pallet scale. Also, helpful for non-partnered Hazmat shipments where you need to track and provide box weights for your carrier.

When enabled, this setting will force you to enter the weights of a box even when not required by Amazon. For more info on this feature, click here

  • Upload Expiration Dates and/or Locations in Bulk - Enabling this feature gives you the option of uploading expiration dates and locations by file upload inside of a working shipment.

When turned on, an Upload button appears inside a working shipment, as pictured below. For more info on this feature, click here

7. Box Dimension Entry: This setting lets you select your preference on how you would like to enter the dimensions of your boxes into the software:

  • Default to destination region - Leave this as your default option for ease of use.
  • Always imperial (inches, pounds) - Recommended if you're US-based.
  • Always metric (centimeters, kilograms) - Recommended if you're operating from Europe, Asia, or anywhere else the metric system is used.

Note: 2D workflow will always convert box dims and weights to the appropriate format based on the marketplace you are shipping to. The above feature is simply for selecting how you prefer to enter that info into the software.

8. Add to Item Labels: This setting allows you to print some extra information on to your FNSKU/item labels, such as the item SKU and the item ASIN
