Using a handheld UPC scanner can help optimize your 2D Workflow experience. Here are a few ways this can help:
- On the Inventory Page
Scan the manufacturer’s barcode of any physical product in your inventory, and 2D Workflow will bring it up on this page. This can be useful for finding and printing item labels quickly, as well as scanning items to add them to a shipment.
- In a Shipment’s Workflow
Scan any item’s barcode to bring up that item in your shipment. This feature is useful if you’re prepping items in a line or conveyor belt style, where you can just scan an item in your shipment as they come down the line or if you don’t want to process items in the order they appear on the list and instead want to scan-and-prep.
- Inside the Multi-SKU Box Workflow
You can also use a handheld scanner while packing Multi-SKU boxes. Inside the Multi-SKU Workflow, simply scan the barcode of any item in your shipment and it will add that item to the box.
Scan multiple items in any order you want. One scan of a barcode adds another unit to your box. When your box is full, print its label, and start scanning and packing your next box.
